Take a moment and imagine with me an alternate reality. Before I further explain myself, however, I would like to make it clear that I do believe in the one we call God, and I am quite pleased with the reality we have at present, but rewind and imagine with me for a moment, or at least till this prologue is over with. What's the biggest thing you've seen? I'm sure it was purely fascinating just becasue it was big. Anything huge would be an interest to my eyes. Big things normally catch our eye. Did it glimmer? The biggest thing you've seen? Was it heavly populated by winged beings? Probably not. Well, not anything that actually exists in the form of matter. Some of us have more of an opened mind than others, and I solely congradulate you on that. Point being, imagine a big glimmering thing, populated with winged beings. I think it's rather simple. Not much of a challenge at all. I will, however, now add the details.
The large glimmering whatever it is, is lacking thereof. The skies are inkled with gray clouds and angry winds carrying the attack of rain that stings upon contact with skin. Nothing is very exciting about this place, except for the miserable tension of a war, that is indeed breaking out, right now, as we imagine together. Don't jump up expecting to be enrolled, it's not quite that easy. This war is over and done with, but still currently going on. I would like to explain myself, but I am afraid to inform you that it's just one of those things that don't come clear until around the end of the story. So, there you have it, your very first reason to continue reading. Smile.
So far, we have large shimmering thing, with winged beings in the midst of war on a day inwhich the weather isn't cooperating. Well, I suppose it's about time that I tell you what the large shimmering thing actually is. Don't hold your breath though, for it's not really that exciting. It's only a castle, palace if you will. It's holding very important people, which is expected when one hears of large shimmering palaces. I might want to add that not all these winged beings are on the same alignment. They're not all the same either. You have your fluffly white winged angelic types fighting your dark, bony, demonic types. Not very hard to figure out that we have some angel on demon fighting going on. That doesn't happen everyday, well, at least not in the way that's being described in this prologue.
Well, you know what's happening outside of the palace now. I suppose I could tell you what's going on inside. Pay attention though, becasue like most prologues, this part is vitally important. And hense, I shall tell you to continue using those imaginations. Don't look surprised. It's essentail to reading any book.
And so, it begins
